Join us on Wednesday, Oct 29th at 4:30pm in room 7-158 for an online talk from the Rocky Mountain Goat Alliance with Kendrick Chittock. Kendrick Chittock is a conservationist, photographer, and writer and serves as the Operations Director for the Rocky Mountain Goat Alliance. At RMGA, Kendrick carries out the priorities of the Board of Directors, facilitates the Science and Conservation Committee, and handles other non-profit responsibilities such as fundraising and membership. His photography and writing have been published in various outdoor magazines such as Gray’s Sporting Journal and The Fly Fish Journal, and he writes weekly and shares photographs on his substack, AFIELD Notes.
Wolverine Biologist Talk

Join us on Tuesday, Nov 4th at 4pm in room 7-150 for an online talk from guest speaker Doris Hausleitner, Wildlife Biologist, on her research in wolverines. Doris Hausleitner is an instructor at Selkirk College, and a consulting wildlife biologist. She has studied a variety of species at risk but will be delivering a talk about wolverine. Doris has been studying wolverine for almost 15 years and together with the Wolverine Watch team has brought wolverine science to decision-makers and has been instrumental in some hands-on conservation in the province.
Kennedy Siding Caribou Herd

Come see and learn about wild caribou by experts in the field!
Participants will leave early in the morning from UNBC and drive around 2 hours north where we will get the chance to see and photograph the caribou from up close and hear from some experts on caribou ecology.
We’ll be tabling in the Winter Garden on Oct 28th & 29th to sign up.
Trip cost is $5 per person to be donated back to Kennedy Siding and you must be a member to sign up.
Carpooling among participants will be organized closer to the date.
